Mission Statement/
Business Objective

Predictive Engineering Inc. provides finite element analysis software, support, training and consulting to a broad range of engineering companies. We strive to exceed clients' expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and knowledge transfer. Executing all work in a cost-effective and collaborative manner ensuring that all clients are reference clients.

Who We Are
Predictive Engineering provides mechanical engineering solutions that focus on finite element analysis (FEA).

Our core strength lies in the ethical and long-term collaborative relationships that we develop with our clients. To assist them in building better products faster and more economical, we sale and provide high-end, customized engineering support for the UGS CAE solutions under the product line of Femap and NX Nastran and for the breakthrough CFD product known as CFdesign from Blue Ridge Numerics. For intense nonlinear applications that required unlimited FEA horsepower we sale and support LS-DYNA from LSTC.

When needed to jump-start our clients engineering processes or provide that needed resource to tackle a particularly difficult analysis problem, Predictive Engineering offers onsite startup for the above software products. Clients consider our training and consulting capabilities to be a cut above our peer group. Our difference is our dedication to providing our clients with the right answer on time and on budget.

About Me...
My background is a mix of applied mechanics (Ph.D. Oregon State University) and straight industrial modeling experience. I enjoy exploring new technologies and frequently beta test new analysis software. Over the years I have tackled a wide range of mechanical engineering analysis problems using finite element technology. In all of my consulting projects (as of 2005, I have executed almost 750 projects) I advocate for the best possible structural or thermal/fluid design with the engineering team. I consider this approach as adding a "mechanical advocate" that is un-biased toward the design intent. Another of my strong suits is my extensive background in materials. I understand the mechanical behavior of most common engineering materials from ceramics to plastics. With this knowledge base, I can combine predicted behavior with real behavior to offer a high quality engineered solution.
